Terms for Messenger enquiries and quotations.
These terms apply when you use Santo Tropical Messenger or our website to contact Santo Tropical Car Rentals. Rental-specific conditions are confirmed separately with each accepted quotation or booking.
Service
The app helps customers send rental enquiries, receive responses, and request quotations through our Facebook Page. Messages and displayed availability are not a confirmed reservation. A booking exists only after Santo Tropical confirms vehicle, dates, price, pickup details, and any required payment in writing.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate contact, driver, passenger, travel, and pickup information. Do not send unlawful, abusive, misleading, automated, or harmful content, malware, payment-card numbers, passwords, identity documents, or other sensitive information through Messenger unless our team specifically requests a secure method.
Prices and availability
Vehicle availability and prices may change until confirmed. Quotations state applicable rates and validity. Final rental terms, driver requirements, insurance conditions, changes, cancellation, vehicle use, damage, and return obligations are supplied with the booking.
Acceptable use
You may use the app only for genuine rental enquiries and support. We may restrict or stop access where use threatens customers, staff, Meta services, website security, or legal compliance.
Third-party services
Messenger is provided by Meta and remains subject to Meta's terms and privacy practices. Email, calendar, hosting, analytics, maps, payment, and communications services may have separate terms. We are not responsible for interruptions or changes controlled by those providers.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided without a promise of uninterrupted operation. Santo Tropical is not liable for indirect loss caused by service outages, delayed messages, inaccurate user information, or unauthorised use outside our reasonable control. Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unchanged.
